Final 9 Weeks!!

How did you do last 9 weeks? Are you prepared to improve this 9 weeks? Is there anything you plan to change? How will you do it? If you are a senior are you ready? If you are an underclassman are you prepared for next year with 7 periods? Are your grades high enough to get you to graduation

Last 9 weeks I did not do to bad. My grades were ABCC. I could've d0ne better, but I slacked off in some of my classes. This 9 weeks I am prepared to improve. I plan to get to class on time and hand in my work when it is due. I graduate in about 5 weeks, instead of the full 9. Seniors last days are on May 15th. So I only have 5 weeks left in this grading period, then i'm finished with highschool and I get to move on to bigger things in life.

What A Week

Right now im extremely tired. I slept about 3 hours last night. This week basically was a good week, it was short and simple. I enjoyed sleeping in and then coming to school. I would rather school atleast start at 9 a.m. It would give everyone more time to sleep and more energy to focus during the school day. Im ready to finish out this school year and graduate. I only have a little bit of time left in highschool, after that i'm moving on to bigger and better things in life. I'm under a little bit of more stress because I have to pass my web design class in order to graduate. Other than that I feel a little more relieved that my work has payed off and I wil be walking in May with my classmates.

Power Outage

The power went out in a few places in Central Florida. When the power went out nothing went through my mind, I didn't pay much mind to it, some people seem to be real frantic and start to assume the worst. I just take things as it is. I pictured a bad storm coming because it was getting real dark outside and the wind began picking up. I didn't have any worries besides my cell phone dieing and me being bored when the power went out at night. I really didn't care to be honest, it didn't really bother me, isn't the first time the power went on, iv'e experienced a city-wide black out when I lived in NYC and it was fun. The only thing I actually thought about was if a tornado was going to hit, other than that it was another day just with bad weather, but I like the rain and dark skies so it was ok to me.

Fidel Castro Resigns

Castro resigns, what does that mean for the future of Cuba?

I think this is a good thing for the people and the future of Cuba. Fidel Castro has done many things that i'm sure even people from Cuba would agree that he was a horrible leader. I'm sure many are happy. I think as far as the United States and Cuba are concerned, things might become better since Castro has stepped down, its not guarenteed but I think it will get better, and maybe things will change within their country for the better

The first week of school

The first week of school has been interesting so far. My first block which is basketball, is fun. I can't really complain about playing sports for about a hour. My second block which is Ag. Has also been interesting since my teacher has been out since wendesday. She has a lot of conventions and activities that she goes to.
My third block which is what i'm in now, is web design. I like the class, theres not too many people in here and it's very quiet. My 4th block is algebra 2. I got my schedule changed on friday to be removed out of that class. I found the class to be too hard, math has always been my weakest subject and I already have all my math credits. I should be finding out later on today what class I was placed in.
I am basically happy with my classes, especially now since I am being taken out of algebra 2. It should be a fun semester, I have to stay on top of my grades, so I can graduate on time. I'm a little excited because this is basically my last 18 weeks in highschool, and I won't be able to go through this again.
Through these next 9 to 18 weeks, i'm basically going to be focused on graduation and passing all my classes with decent grades. I want to boost my GPA up a little more before I leave. Overall this semester looks like it's going to be a good one.
In conclusion my first week wasn't bad, it wasn't the best I ever had, but that's life. Classes are decent, and I like my teachers, so I can't complain. Last semester I had teachers I really didn't get along with, but I still got my work done, and passed.

The first day back

The first day back hasn't been too bad. I ended up having gym first block, agriculture 2nd, web design 3rd block and algebra 2 for 4th block. I don't really want to have algebra 2 and i'm going to change it. I also don't like the fact that I eat lunch last. But overall my schedule is not too bad. I like the new schedule for the lunches, it's better that right after 2nd block students can go right into lunch, instead of having to wait 10 minutes to then leave class, and return back to the courtyard. Overall today was a decent day, now i'm just waiting to see what tommorow holds.
